Upcoming Dates

Ok so if AF arrives on March 17th, I will take BCP's until March 29th. U/S (ultrasound) done locally on the 30th or 31st. Start stims the 1st of April if everything looks good. Not sure what that means, hopefully that damn cysts disappears with my next cycle. Then I would have an u/s on April 7th, be in Denver April 8th and possible retrieval date will be April 14th. It makes me nervous just thinking about it and actually writing this out. I feel that this step is the BIG one. We are just hoping and praying we have genetically good embryos after all is said and done. We are having genetic testing done so we will be doing a FET in the summer. I am not sure when now since my sister is getting married in July and that's when we wanted to do it. I guess we just need to get through the Egg Retrieval part first and we will deal with the FET next.

The Results are in...

The trip to Colorado has been great, not only did we take care of CCRM stuff but we got in 2 amazing blue bird days of snowboarding.
So the the CD3 results:
FSH-8.2
LH-73 (not good they want it below 50, probably have a cyst)
AMH-no results at the time they called they probably have it now but whatever

So our nurse Annie called yesterday afternoon with our protocol. It all basically depends on when I CD1 starts in March but looks like our tentative retrieval date is going to be April 15th. It all is making me feel very anxious that it seems so close yet so far away. They don't seem too concerned about the cyst so I won't be either.

Here We Go

It shouldn't surprise me when I go to CCRM and end up paying them lots of money. If I haven't mentioned it before I will now. Unfortunatley, we do not have infertility coverage so we are paying out of pocket. We have been saving like crazy and have the money but boy do I hate to depart from it. I know this is going to work and in the end I will have a better attitude about the costs. To answer a question I know I had... yes, CCRM is open on Sunday's. Here is our breakdown of the fees today.
Today's bloodwork for me included my CD3 & communicables...
AMH-$135
Estradiol-$115
FSH-$115
Hep B-$65
Hep B Core-$60
Hep C-$115
HIV 1-HIV 2 Plus O-$65
LH-$115
RPR-$35
Venipuncture-$20 (blood draw)
Total: $840

Husband had is bloodwork done today too his cost was $360. So all together we paid
$1200.

Now off to Vail for fun!

Heading to CO

We are traveling to CO & CCRM this weekend to do bloodwork and for husband to provide 1 of 3 frozen backup SA samples. AF should be coming on Friday. We are not just going to CO for that infertility stuff but our friends invited us on a FREE Snowboarding trip so we will be in Vail, CO M-Th next week. Can't wait! Tomorrow I am having bloodwork done at my local clinic to save me some money. I am also getting tested to see if I am a CF carrier.

35

Today I am 35. I keep telling others that are younger than me that is sounds worst than it really is.  Believe me I would never want to be in my twenties again, I really enjoy being in my 30's. Basically just another day today, hopefully CCRM won't make me get a mammogram, they origianlly crossed that off my list but that is when I was 34. We shall see when I go there in 2 weeks.

The Daily Grind

So what am I doing in the mean time… I love running and doing P90X. We did P90X when we got married and saw amazing results. Now I just do the workouts whenever I want to or when I have time to. I don't follow it religiously like I did when we got married but it's still a great workout. We live in Arizona so right now the weather is just cool for us. Believe it or not we want to move out of Arizona, the summer's are brutal. Imagine a blast furnace everytime you step out the door starting in June all the way until October and then it's still 100 in October. We have always wanted to move to Colorado and plan on doing so but I wanted to have a baby first because I have maternity leave with my job. Who knew it would end of like this, us having to travel to Colorado in order to conceive our first child. Oh well, I am going to make the best of this experience and someday I will live in Colorado.
