I have been so behind on posting. I will be 38 weeks on Thursday, then just 2 more weeks (hopefully) until we meet him. We still do not have any names picked out. At this point I told my husband to pick 3 and I will pick 3 and we will decide when we meet him.
The weight gain has leveled off a lot! I have not gained any weight in 2 weeks. I have gained a total of 33lbs so far, I think I will hit the 35lbs mark before baby comes. Still on the higher end I know. My belly button is still in and I think it will stay that way. My hands and feet only get really swollen when I go for walks. My belly still looks crazy big, almost everyone I see/meet (yes strangers) tell me I am not going to make it to 40 weeks. Well, we shall see.
I was 1cm dilated & 50 effaced last Wednesday at my Dr. appointment. I know that doesn't mean much to a lot of people. I was so excited to hear that news because I have been so afraid my cervix wouldn't do anything because I have a lot of scar tissue on it. I hope it keeps progressing on it's own. My Dr. is aware of the scar tissue and she said she could break through it if my cervix gets stuck but she thinks I should be OK. I have read many horror stories about women who have had the leep procedure (what I had done) and their dr.'s suggesting a C-section because the cervix doesn't dilate. My dr. did say it may take me a while to progress in the beginning. My goal is to have a healthy baby and a vaginal childbirth.
I started packing the hospital bags this past weekend. The baby room is finally painted and we are ready to finally furnish it. I am not too worried about even getting a crib yet because he will be sleeping in our room for a couple months. We do have a car seat, clothes, diapers, pack n' play, bouncer and a few other items purchased so we will be fine if he decides to come early. I am still working and plan on working up until the big day. I have a lot of work to do until then so he is not allowed to come until after August 8th.

Only 6 To Go
We experienced out first trip to L & D last Thursday afternoon at 33 weeks. I had not been feeling well for about a day and half. I couldn't eat, I was feeling nauseous and I was having very bad back pain. I just thought it was the AZ heat (113 that day) and the fact that I am having a large baby. Thursday morning my back pain got so bad I took Tylenol and it didn't help at all. The sharp pain would come and go and last for a few minutes. I left work early because I couldn't take it anymore. I called my OB and she had me go to the hospital. They hooked me up and I was having contractions. They monitored me for 3 hours and gave me a shot to stop the contractions. They also did the NP test. I haven't heard the results yet assuming I will at my next appointment. The contractions were nothing to be concerned about, my cervix is still closed. Thanks goodness, I can't wait to meet him but I really rather have him stay in there until August.
Since last week I still have been having pretty bad back pain. Not the shooting pain, just steady back pain. I try to regulate it with a heating pad, Tylenol and getting in the pool. I even bring a pillow to sit with at work. Braxton Hicks are also in full force, they get so strong that I have to lay down. We only have 6 more weeks to go. I have definitely started to count the weeks, I have loved being pregnant until this back pain kicked in. Now, I don't know how I am going to make it another 6 weeks. I keep reminding myself how grateful I am to feel this pain, if this is what it takes then this is what it takes. For the next FET I going to make sure I am not 9 months pregnant in the middle of this AZ summer.

8 X 4 = 32
Yep I am 8 months pregnant, 32 weeks. All I can say is WOW! It is weird telling people I am 8 months pregnant. Everything is and has been going well. We finally took a tour of the hospital and registered for some childbirth classes. Now all we need is a name and to do the nursery.
Here I am either before or after yoga, not the best pic especially that shadow on the wall but you get the idea on how big my belly is. Believe it or not I don't have any stretch marks. Sure hope that doesn't change these last 8 weeks. I think I am up a total of 30lbs.

OH BOY!
We had a 3D ultrasound earlier this week and it was pretty amazing to see! She did a few measurements to see how big he is and let's just say he is not going to be a small baby. Right now he is weighing almost 5lbs, coming in at 4lbs 14 oz. I knew he was big but not that big. She did a few bone measurements too and his femur is measuring at 35 weeks and I am 31 weeks today. He is head down already, sitting right on my bladder. I literally go to the restroom every hour and get up 4 times at night. We are very grateful to be in this situation no matter what size he is. The good thing is I get to see him again next week for a growth scan at my dr. office. I need to post another belly pic so you can see the size of this thing, it's huge! 2 people have asked me if I am having twins. Makes me so happy about our decision on only putting in 1 embryo, not that I don't think about that other embryo all the time!
Let me update a little about my weight gain, well, I have gained 25lbs already and counting. My OB thinks I will gain 40lbs. I don't feel like I eat any more, in fact I know I am eating less. It so hot in AZ that we don't make meals at night, we eat pretty light. Oh well, it will be a fun challenge getting back into shape before the next FET.

30 Weeks, Only 10 To Go!
Here we are at exactly 30 weeks! Only 10 more to go! I am currently sitting in the doctor's office doing my 3 hour glucose test. Yes, I failed the first one. I knew I would. It's not too bad, I brought my computer to help pass the time.
We are both super anxious to meet this little boy. No, we still don't have any names pick out nor have we even started on his room. We will start hopefully this weekend. I'm not too worried about it. I know it will all come together. I sure hope he doesn't decide to come early though.
We were home for 9 days, it was nice to see family. We have not been home in almost 2 years because we were dealing with infertility stuff. It was finally nice to see everyone. We had our family baby shower and I had some maternity pics taken. My husband's sister is an amazing photographer so I wanted her to take the pics, it may have been a little early but we really wanted her to take them.

I only have 1 shot to share right now, it was taken in South Dakota.

26 Weeks
I can't believe I haven't posted in 5 weeks, time seems to be flying by. Everything is going very well with the pregnancy. I am pretty sure he is going to be a big baby. A stranger asked me the other day if I was 7 months pregnant, um, nope, almost 6. I don't mind people telling me how big my belly is, it just makes me happy to know he is growing.
So many things have been happening. We moved into a new home, we are still settling in and still need to start on the baby room. We are going back to the midwest for 9 days in a couple weeks and I am hoping when we come back we will get motivated to set up his room. We still have nothing for him, not a crib, nothing. We don't even have any names picked out, not even one. For some reason I don't love anything. I like everything but I just don't love it. I sure hope it comes to us when he is born.
I try to exercise at least 5x's a week and have been going to prenatal yoga which I really have been enjoying. But let me tell you running while pregnant is NOT fun. I miss running so much but as many times as I have to go pee when I run I rather just walk. Seriously on a 2 mile run I will pee 4 times, pulling your pants down behind a bush, while pregnant, is not that fun. I do enjoy the elliptical, walking and some pregnancy DVD I got from Target.
The only complaint I have is not being able to see him more. I haven't seen him since 18.5 weeks and I am currently 26 weeks today. We plan on scheduling one of those 3D ultrasounds in a couple weeks and I can't wait. I will post another pic again here soon so you can all see this big belly!
