A Belly Pic

I do take pics every week. I am one of those who hates having their picture taken. I instagrammed this on photo, I think it makes me look better. The belly really grew a lot this week!

It's A...

We had out anatomy scan and measurements today and it's a BOY! I was super anxious today and couldn't wait. I just had this feeling it wasn't going to be in the correct position today but it was. It really changes your thoughts once you find out what it is. Not in a bad way, I just feel like I know him better so much more already.

It's Been A While

I have written several posts but have not posted them. I am not sure why. I will be starting a family blog hopefully this week. All of our family lives in the midwest and they really want to see my belly and follow our progress so I will post the link on here if you all would like to see some pics too. It will have way too much information on it so don't feel like you have to follow along.
I am in the second trimester, 17 weeks tomorrow. I have a lot more energy and I am feeling a lot better. Things are going pretty well and I am glad to report things have been pretty boring.  I am walking and doing the elliptical several times a week and it feels great to exercise again. I am going to try to start running at least a couple miles a week as long as I feel ok, otherwise I will just forget about running until after baby is born.
Lately, I am really starting to enjoy it, not that I didn't enjoy it before. I especially enjoy seeing my belly grow, that means baby is growing. We find out the sex on March 20th, we can't wait. I have yet to purchase any baby stuff and probably won't for a while. We are moving into a bigger home in May so we don't want to purchase stuff then move it all. Bad timing on moving but we need something bigger for baby and family & friends.

Graduated

I finally graduated from CCRM on Thursday! We are very excited.  Like I said before I am so happy to not have to do the weekly blood draws, they were a huge pain mainly because I always did them before I went to work to avoid anyone wondering what I was up to.
Today I am 13.2 weeks. The bump is growing but it is pretty small right now so I will post pics when you can tell it's actually a bump and not me eating too much. I finally told everyone at work and all of our friends & family know. Next week I have my monthly OB check up but those are pretty boring. We won't get to see this one again until 18 weeks at the anatomy scan. We can't wait to find out what it is!

Off All Meds

I finally get to stop all meds. I am so super excited. I am not even scared anymore. I am so excited to not to have to remember to take them, I don't have to go to the pharmacy anymore and I most importantly don't have to have weekly blood draws! I guess I should say I have 1 more blood draw next week to make sure everything still looks good. Numbers keep going up. I don't officially graduate from CC.RM until after next weeks blood draw.

It's February, that means there are a lot of ladies getting ready for PUPO! So excited for you all!

NT Scan

Today I finally got to see our little one again and boy has it changed! It finally looks like a real baby. Unfortunately, my uterus was having a contraction the entire time and it was smashing the baby in the corner. We tried everything to change it's position. I laid on my side, they tilted me way back, they had me release some of the water I drank and nothing. Needless to say they couldn't guess on the sex. Oh well, we still enjoyed every minute today. We did get to see him/her clapping it's hands as well and banging it's head on my uterus, what a sight to see. Today's heart rate was 171. Baby was measuring 12 weeks today and I am 11.5 weeks today. Today was pure happiness. I can't believe what is happening inside my uterus and I can't wait to meet this little one!

11 weeks

I know my posts are lacking and are not too exciting but thought I would still update. I had my labs tested again today and everything is looking good. My nurse said I should be done by next week with everything so that is exciting, yet scary because I don't have too much faith in my body sometimes. February is a big month for a lot of you out there and I can't wait to follow everyone along!
