No More Bleeding

Today I am feeling super sad. I keep crying off and on. I just can't control it. I have read tons of stories online with situations just like mine. Some turned out fine, some, not so fine. The bleeding has stopped completely, some brownish discharge but nothing else. I don't have any cramping. I still just continue to feel like AF is about to arrive any minute. I have been feeling like that since the 3dpt.
I wish I would have never had the u/s done at the ER yesterday. It's results are consuming my thoughts. I will need to somehow try to make it until Dec. 27th for my u/s with my local RE. I pray that everything looks normal. According to the ultrasound yesterday I have and enlarged yolk sac and the gestational sac is irregularly shaped. Both of those results usually end up in miscarriage. I know it's early on and sometimes this can still end up fine but it's hard to imagine that it will be fine for us. This wait is going to kill me.

  1. Isnt there any way your RE can squeeze you in this week? I would absolutely try for it. I'm sorry you having to deal with all this worry. I'm still praying for you. And I know Im not a doctor but your symptoms just dont seem very consistent with a miscarriage. Have you passed any tissue since leaving the ER? I would think if it was a miscarriage you would have a TON of bad cramping and the bleeding wouldnt stop until you passed the sac. At least that's what Ive experienced. I'm really hoping and praying for the best for you! Keep us posted xo

  2. Awww Krista. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know from experience how absolutely terrifying it is. I'm hoping and praying that everything is OK. And please don't blame yourself (you said in your last post you had overdone it). If you are going to miscarry (and I pray that you aren't), there is absolutely nothing you did to cause it - truly. Hang in there girl (hugs).

  3. A little logic for you... ER docs are not trained to do early pregnancy ultrasounds, heartbeats really can't be seen until around 6- 61/2 weeks, and if you don't have any cramping just spotting and haven't passed huge clots it could very well just be a small hematoma. I'm not a fellow IF but I have had a miscarriage, call your doctor in the morning when they open and beg if you must!!!! I'll be praying for happy news for you!!!!

  4. I know yOur RE isn't local, do you have a local one or local OB/gyn that you can see tomorrow? They will def be more in tune to what is happening and at least re check your labs to be sure they aren't falling and that would ease your mind some?

  5. How about having another beta tomorrow and see if the numbers are still rising? Maybe that can give you some peace of mind until next week. Hang in there!

  7. I was going to write the same thing as Stacey - ER docs aren't trained to specialize in OB issues, so it's entirely possible their results are not right (there are just so many inconsistencies - like the sac measuring larger - I have NEVER heard of that). Hang in there, call your ER tomorrow morning, explain what happened at the ER, and see if there is any way they'll do an earlier u/s for your peace of mind (keeping in mind that it might be too early for THEM to even be able to determine anything with any amount of certainty).

I'm so sorry you're having to go through all of this worry ... hang in there. You have a lot of us supporting you!

  8. I'd definitely call your RE tomorrow and see if they can sneak you in. In the meantime sending positive thoughts your way.

  9. I'm so sorry! I can only imagine how scary this must be. I'll reiterate what others have said. ER doc's aren't OB's. And even OBs aren't very good at looking at u/s's from pregnancies this early on bc most women wouldn't even know they were pregnant at this point and usaully don't get OB care this early. So I'd take what the ER doc said with a HUGE grain of salt. Hang in there and relax (stay off your feet, pamper yourself) until you hear from the CCRM nurse.

  11. I agree w/ the others. While this may not be the case w/ all m/cs, w/ mine, the cramping was severe and it was massive amounts of blood, like overflowing the pad... Fingers crossed and thinking of you.

  12. I think it is a good sign that you are not having any more bleeding (except the dark brown stuff) and you are not having cramps. I would see what your CCRM nurse recommends. Stay away fromt the internet (easier said than done)!

  13. Those are good news! rest all you can and call your nurse to tell her your progesterone level. But the most important thing is to stay positive, rest and wait patiently until your U/S.
