The Calendar

Well I got my calendar from CCRM. My nurse called and left a message this morning with all the order for the drugs. It makes me so nervous to think about it all. I have yet to call them back. I will shortly. But here is my calendar. I called the Freedom Pharmacy that CCRM uses and boy things are not cheap. Grand total. $4566.88...HOLY SHIT! I don't have coverage for IVF meds so it's all out of pocket. I know it's worth it and can't wait until this part is over.

  1. It definitely isn't cheap. I know. Hurts just thinking about it. It will all be worth it, like you said, I keep telling myself that :-)

  2. Krista - if you want, I'd HIGHLY recommend you order at least the Menopur from IVFmeds.com. That's where I ordered from, and you have plenty of time to get it in. It's $38.75/vial instead of $70+. The solution you mix it with is in glass topped vials instead of the ones with the rubber top like you'd get from Freedom, but after speaking with the pharmacist (TODD himself!) at Todd's Pharmacy in Denver (who CC.RM recommends), he said to just throw out those glass mixer vials of sodium chloride and he sold me a $2 bottle of sodium chloride to mix it with instead. If you're doing 2 vials/day for 5 days, that would save you a chunk of money. Shoot me an email if you have any questions.

I see they carry Gonal-F as well, though I haven't used that before.

    Hope this helps!!
